Livestream Footage Shows Maryland Bridge Collapsing After Ship Collision

A large ship crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland on Tuesday morning, causing it to collapse into the water. The vessel, which is Singapore-flagged and 984 feet long, struck a support beam of the bridge causing it to collapse.

According to video footage from StreamTime Live, the ship approached the bridge around 1:24 a.m. local time, with its lights turning off briefly before impact. The vessel then collided with the beam at around 1:28 a.m., resulting in the bridge collapsing in less than 10 seconds.

Ship tracking data revealed that the vessel involved in the crash was the Dali, owned by Grace Ocean and managed by Synergy Marine Group, both based in Singapore. Attempts to reach both companies for comment were unsuccessful.
