Central-Hickory Game to be Held at Mansion | Up-to-Date News, Sports, and Employment Opportunities

The Central High School football team is heading to the PIAA Class 3A playoffs this Friday, just a short distance from home. As the District 6 champion, they will face off against District 10 champion Hickory at Mansion Park at 7 p.m. on Friday. This will be their first interdistrict game and a chance to showcase their skills on a bigger stage.

Cambria Heights, who recently claimed their first-ever District 6 championship, are also making it to the state Class 1A playoffs. They will be taking on District 4 champ South Williamsport in a matchup that promises to be exciting. The game will take place at Williamsport High School on Saturday at 7 p.m., providing another opportunity for these teams to prove themselves against tough competition.

In addition to these games, District 6 champions Bald Eagle Area and Juniata are also gearing up for action in the PIAA playoffs. Bald Eagle Area will be facing District 4 champ Southern Columbia at Mansion Park on Friday at 7 p.m., while Juniata will visit Selinsgrove at the same time and location for a highly anticipated showdown between two top teams from the area.
