A big fire has broken out in the business building on the northeast corner of the intersection at 14th Avenue South and South Cloverdale in downtown South Park. The main intersection is currently closed off, as well as the northbound side of the South Park Bridge. The smoke from the fire is visible on a nearby traffic camera, as shown in the screengrab above.

The fire department is still fighting the fire, and southbound traffic off the South Park Bridge is being detoured onto westbound Dallas. SFD reports that there are no injuries, but some units are being dismissed as the fire has been declared “tapped” (out).

Meanwhile, cars are turning around and heading back northbound on the bridge, as traffic is being held behind a bus. It’s unclear when the road will reopen to traffic.
