A photo of a full house at Wrigley Field during a Red Sox game in 2012 has been sent in by a BCB reader. The photo, which was televised by Fox Sports, features the first baseman wearing No. 3 and the visiting team confirmed to be the Red Sox.

The Red Sox first visited Wrigley Field in 2005, and this game took place in 2012. Further investigation led to the discovery that the game was broadcast on a Saturday, June 16, 2012, where the Red Sox won 4-3. The game featured future Cub Jon Lester pitching for the Red Sox, and a homerun from Luis Valbuena that brought the Cubs within one run, but they ultimately lost the game.

This game is another piece of Cubs history and provides the opportunity to watch Lester pitch in Wrigley Field before joining the Cubs as a free agent. The photo serves as a reminder of the excitement and energy that filled Wrigley Field during this memorable game.
