NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (CBSNewsTexas.com) — This Christmas season, why not celebrate the biggest gift of the year in a unique way? Jesse Gonzales and his wife Angela have turned their North Richland Hills home on Wisdom Way into a tribute to the 2023 World Series champions, the Texas Rangers.

Their holiday decorations are anything but traditional. Instead of reindeer and Santa’s sleigh, scenes from the World Series are displayed in bright lights, illuminating their driveway and creating a festive atmosphere for all to see. The reaction has been phenomenal, with people coming by every day to admire the show.

Jesse and Angela are no strangers to celebrating big moments with their love for the Texas Rangers. They met on their first date at a Rangers game and got engaged a year later at another game. So it only makes sense that when the Rangers won the World Series, they would combine their usual enormous holiday light show with this highlight of every Texan’s year.

The entire display is choreographed to Post Malone’s song “Congratulations,” with jerseys on skeletons paying homage to Rangers past, present and future. The final pitch of the World Series is projected on a giant LED screen, followed by highlights from throughout the series. The entire family says it was certainly their year to “Go and take it,” hoping more people will stop by before their real Christmas decorations go up on Dec 1st.

Jesse wants his family to experience the joy of reliving that moment again and feeling welcomed during this special time of year.”I want them to experience that same excitement we felt when we saw those players lift that trophy,” he said.
