Florida Gulf Coast University will host the third annual Resnick-Wynn Family Business Conference on Feb. 29, featuring Jonathan Tisch as the keynote speaker. Tisch is a successful businessman and philanthropist who co-chairs Loews Corporation, serves as executive chairman of Loews Hotels & Company, and is a co-owner of the New York Giants. His speech will focus on leading family businesses through critical crossroads, which aligns with the conference theme.
Tisch has followed in the footsteps of previous keynote speakers such as Alan Hassenfeld, former chairman and CEO of Hasbro Toys, and Steve Forbes, chairman of Forbes Media and editor-in-chief of the business magazine that bears his family name. Like them, Tisch comes from a successful multi-generational family business. He grew up watching his father and uncle create Loews Corporation from scratch.
In his speech at the conference, Tisch will likely share insights into how to navigate challenging situations within a family business while maintaining its integrity and success. His experience as both an entrepreneur and an heir to a well-established corporation will provide valuable advice for attendees looking to grow their own businesses while honoring their family’s legacy.
