In a thrilling match at the U-17 World Cup in Indonesia, Germany emerged victorious over the United States with a final score of 3-2. The United States was eliminated from the tournament after losing to Germany on a late goal.

The game was played at a fast pace, with both teams vying for control. Germany took the lead early on with a 14th-minute free kick by Charles Herrmann, but the United States quickly equalized with a goal by Taha Habroune just ten minutes later. The two teams traded leads throughout the first half, with Germany regaining their advantage before halftime thanks to a goal by Max Moerstedt.

As they entered the second half, Germany threatened to extend their lead, but the United States managed to tie things up again in the 80th minute with a free kick from David Vazquez. However, all hopes of victory were dashed when substitute Bilal Yalcinkaya scored a last-minute winner for Germany in the 87th minute.

With this win, Germany advanced to the quarterfinals where they will face Spain on Nov. 24. It was a disappointing result for the United States, who were knocked out of the competition despite playing well throughout
