Weekend Schedule for NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races at Martinsville Speeday

An action-packed weekend awaits NASCAR fans at Martinsville Speedway as all three national series will be in action. The Truck race kicks off the weekend on Friday, followed by the Xfinity series on Saturday afternoon and the Cup race on Sunday afternoon. Last season’s winners at Martinsville Speedway were Corey Heim in the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek in the spring Xfinity race, and Kyle Larson in the spring Cup race.

The weather forecast for the weekend looks favorable with partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees on Friday for the Truck race, mostly sunny skies and a high of 58 degrees on Saturday for the Xfinity race, and sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees on Sunday for the Cup race. The mix of wet weather tires and racing slicks during Richmond’s Cup race added an element of excitement to that particular event.

On Friday, garage open at 10 a.m. for the Craftsman Truck Series, followed by track activity from 3:05 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., including Truck Series practice, qualifying, and racing.
