Bernie Clarke, a dedicated volunteer at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry, was seen working tirelessly at the stuffing station of the Thanksgiving bag assembly line. The volunteers at the pantry, located at St. Agnes Church, spent over an hour on Monday morning packing bags to ensure that those in need would have access to a Thanksgiving meal.

Linda Young, the organizer of the event, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food throughout the day. The community’s support and dedication to helping those less fortunate were evident in their efforts. The bags of food packed by the volunteers would go on to make a significant difference for many families during the holiday season.

The mission of the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry to provide food security to the community has been a crucial aspect of their work. Volunteers like Bernie Clarke and Linda Young’s dedication has been instrumental in providing support to those in need. This demonstration of care and generosity has made a significant impact on the lives of many families in the Lake Placid area.
