This week, Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson confirmed that he would be playing against the Bills despite an elbow injury. On Sunday, it turned out he was correct in his assessment as he is not on the inactive list for the matchup of AFC East teams.
Despite being listed as questionable by the team, Wilson is not among the key players who are inactive for the Jets. However, several other players are not available for the game. These include wide receiver Randall Cobb, tackle Billy Turner, tackle Austin Deculus, linebacker Chazz Surratt, linebacker Sam Eguavoen, defensive end Carl Lawson, and cornerback Michael Carter II.
On Buffalo’s side, offensive lineman Alec Anderson and tackle Germain Ifedi are also active after drawing questionable tags. However, several key players are also inactive for the Bills. These include defensive tackle Poona Ford, linebacker A.J. Klein and safety Damar Hamlin.
These absences on both teams could have an impact on the outcome of the game as they will affect each team’s strategy and ability to execute their game plan.
