The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that their Super Bowl parade will take place on Valentine’s Day, in honor of their 25-22 overtime win against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. local time and will follow a route that takes the team from 6th Street and Grand Boulevard to Union Station over 90 minutes. Following the parade, players, coaches, and chairman and CEO Clark Hunt will deliver speeches at 12:45 p.m.
In addition to the parade, the Kansas City Chiefs have also been invited to visit the White House. During a briefing call with press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, it was revealed that there is no set policy for special guests being allowed for the visit to Washington D.C., leaving it up to the Chiefs to decide who they would like to bring with them. Jean-Pierre expressed excitement about welcoming the team and thanked them for their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
