LLCC is providing free classes to seniors who struggle to keep up with the fast pace of technological advancement. The courses will cover essential topics such as email, internet, mobile devices, cybersecurity, computer basics, and video conferencing. These classes will take place in the downtown Springfield center located at 130 W. Mason St. According to Laurel Bretz, an assistant vice president at LLCC, the shift towards digital services and access has left many older adults feeling isolated, frustrated, and excluded from society. For more information about the classes and registration, visit llcc.edu/digital-literacy.
