Mikko Rantaharju, Vice President of Hydrometallurgy business line at Metso, stated, “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Freeport-McMoRan on this important project. We believe that our technology will provide high efficiency and quality of copper production in the El Paso copper electrorefinery after modernization. This solution combines our long-term experience with similar equipment and modern robot technology to meet the material handling requirements of the existing tankhouse.”
