In the remote Amazon jungle of Brazil, a tourist captured a moment when a caiman crocodile tried to free itself from the deadly grip of an anaconda. The video shows the crocodile beating its tail in vain, as the giant python finished its meal and groaned in pain. The ferocity of the encounter was evident as the sound of bones breaking could be heard at the end of the video.

Despite the danger, a cameraman ventured close to capture the python’s victory over its prey. The anaconda had already suffocated its prey and had begun to digest it, with only eyes and claws visible on the crocodile’s body. However, this encounter is not unique as scientists have discovered that there are actually two separate species of giant anacondas with only a 5.5% genetic difference. This difference is significant as humans and chimpanzees only have about a 3% genetic variation.
