Željko Kolar (56) recently became a grandfather for the first time. His son, Maks, welcomed a daughter, making Kolar and his wife, Mira Hrbud Kolar, proud grandparents. The family’s new addition was met with congratulations from all directions.

Kolar has had a long and distinguished career in politics. He has been the mayor of Klanjec since 2009 and was elected to the Croatian Parliament in 2011. In addition to his role as Prefect of Krapina-Zagorje County, he has also served as vice president of the Parliamentary Committee for Environment and Nature Protection.
