The Commanders suffered a tough loss to the Giants with a final score of 31-19. To make matters worse, there was no hot water in either locker room after the game. The team confirmed that an equipment failure in the main water heater caused the issue, and it couldn’t be resolved during the game without completely shutting off the water to the stadium. This is not the first time there have been issues with pipes at FedEx Field, but this time it left the players in need of a shower.

The Commanders spokesperson stated that the issue compounded a bad day for the home team and they will need to find some other way to rinse away the stink of falling to 4-7 on the season. With no hot water available, players will have to find alternative ways to clean up after the game, such as using cold showers or bathing in ice baths. This setback is sure to put a damper on morale and make it even more difficult for the team to bounce back from their recent losses.
