The Texas Rangers have finalized their television broadcast agreement for the 2024 season with Bally Sports Southwest, which was completed on Monday. Under this agreement, the regional sports network will produce and air 153 regular season games, as well as four spring training games this year. These games will also be available for streaming on the Bally Sports app and at BallySports.com.
The Rangers expressed their excitement about the agreement, stating, “We are thrilled to have an agreement in place and look forward to working with Bally Sports Southwest to bring our fans even more exciting baseball action this season.” They also emphasized their ongoing efforts to improve and expand how fans can view Texas Rangers baseball in the future.
There will be some changes in the broadcast team this season, with Dave Raymond returning for his eighth year as lead TV play-by-play voice. Analysts joining C.J. Nitkowski include former Rangers players David Murphy, Mike Bacsik Jr., and Dave Valle. Jared Sandler will do play-by-play for select games, and Emily Jones and Lesley McCaslin will return as in-game reporters.
Bally Sports’ spring training coverage begins on March 14 when the Rangers face the Cincinnati Reds in Cactus League action at 8 p.m. They will also air a World Series rematch against the Arizona Diamondbacks on March 16 (3 p.m. in Surprise), a March 18 game against the Seattle Mariners (3 p.m. in Surprise), and a March 25 matchup against the Boston Red Sox at Globe Life Field.
