Search operation at Moscow region terrorist attack site extended until March 26

The search operation at the site of the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall in Moscow has been extended until 17:00 on Tuesday, March 26. The death toll remains at 137 and no updates have been made since Sunday. On Friday, March 22, four armed men entered Crocus City Hall and started shooting and setting fires before escaping in a vehicle. The FSB of the Russian Federation later announced the detention of all four perpetrators in the Bryansk region and identified a total of 11 suspects. The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.

Rescuers, dog handlers, and builders are currently working on debris clearance at Crocus City Hall. On Saturday evening, it was announced that the rescue operation had been completed with 137 confirmed fatalities, including three children. However, not all victims have been identified and around 100 individuals remain hospitalized. A preliminary list of victims was published by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on March 24, which included names of those affected by the attack.
