Revamped Texas A&M Athletics: A New Era for the Aggies

In 2023, Texas A&M Athletics Hall of Fame inductee John Isner achieved the No. 1 spot on the ATP Doubles Rankings alongside his partner Ivan Dodig, who was ranked No. 2 in the world. Together, they secured five tournament wins, including a Grand Slam Title at the French Open at Roland Garros. This marked their first championship together after losing in the Paris title match in 2022.

John Isner had an impressive 47-19 record in doubles during the 2023 season and held the No. 1 ranking for 13 weeks, including 10 consecutive weeks at the end of the season. His performance earned him a total of 7,130 doubles points, which is more than any other player on the ATP Tour this year. Krajicek and Dodig’s point disparity is particularly significant as it is currently the largest since the final rankings of 2019.
