rEvolution Sports Marketing Group recently launched a new division focused on soccer called rEv United. Inspired by the lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America, the Chicago-based firm aims to expand its business by serving both soccer properties and brands.
Heading the rEv United division is SVP Bruce Bundrant, who has extensive experience in soccer, having worked at organizations such as Relevent Sports Group, AS Monaco, Liverpool, and DC United. According to Bundrant, the agency plans to make several hires focused on soccer for the new division.
With the 2026 World Cup approaching, marketing agencies are vying to position themselves well to win the business of brands looking to capitalize on this rare event. However, with strong competition from both international and U.S.-based agencies focusing on soccer-specific divisions, it will be challenging for rEvolution to stand out in this crowded marketplace.
Other significant moves in the soccer marketing space have also occurred this year. GMR Marketing launched a dedicated division called GMR FC, while For Soccer Ventures acquired Gilt Edge Soccer Marketing. These developments highlight how competitive and fast-paced the industry is becoming.
