Grande Jr. Pizza Express shutting down its doors after successful six-year run

Pizza lovers in Washington County are saying goodbye to Grande Jr. Pizza Express, a popular pizzeria that has been serving up delicious pizza for six years. The shop, located near the Meadows Casino, announced that it will be closing its doors on Saturday after what they called “a tremendous six years.”

Grande Jr. Pizza Express was ranked #1 in the 2024 Best Pizza in Pittsburgh contest hosted by 100.7 Star and judged by a list of local panelists. The pizza provided during the contest was a Detroit-style pizza.

The shop’s owner expressed their gratitude to all of their supporters for the past six years of business. They thanked everyone who had visited their store and enjoyed their food, and promised to keep pizza in stock until their final day. However, as they run out of items this week, those items will be gone from the menu.
