Medina, OH – The City of Medina is set to participate in Small Business Saturday on November 25th to promote the city’s local businesses. As part of the “Shop Small Movement” founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday aims to support small businesses and communities across the country.
The day will take place at the height of the holiday shopping season and will see Medina celebrate with a table set up in the Huntington Bank lobby located at 39 Public Square. This table will provide “Shop Small” handouts and information about Medina’s small business community. Santa will also be visiting from noon-2 pm at Wichert Insurance, 119 N. Court St., adding even more excitement to the day.
According to a recent press release from Main Street Medina, over 90% of the business district storefronts in Medina are filled with local, independent retail shops, boutiques, restaurants, pubs, and a wide range of services. This makes it clear that supporting local businesses is an important aspect of Medina’s economy and community.
