Spring Sports Kick Off in Lenawee County: Clinton dominates Tecumseh in girls soccer, while Sylvania Northview bests Tecumseh’s lacrosse team.

Spring sports activities in Lenawee County are in full swing

The spring season is well underway for Lenawee County high school sports. On Monday, girls soccer teams took the field. Clinton defeated Tecumseh 8-2, with Aubrey Lauer scoring an impressive six goals. Anna Schaffner added two more goals and two assists, while Kaylee Raiser contributed two assists. Goalkeeper Jackie Whiting made six saves for Clinton. In another game, Monroe bested Blissfield 7-2.

Meanwhile, in lacrosse action, the Tecumseh girls team started their season with a tough 16-4 loss to Sylvania Northview. The visiting team from Ohio proved to be a formidable opponent. Sapphira Williams and Emily Burgess each scored a goal and added an assist for Tecumseh. Jayden Poley and Jazlyn Reau also netted a goal each in the game.
