Ivan Anušić, the new Minister of Defense, has clarified his education to members of Parliament. He shared that he left high school at 17 to go to war, and later returned in 1993, where he finished his high school studies. Anušić then took out a loan to pay for semesters at the Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb. He received his ‘bachelor’ status a year ago.
However, there was an error made by Parliament when they assumed Anušić had completed his studies. Upon requesting information about his education from the administration of the Faculty of Kinesiology, it was confirmed that Anušić is currently enrolled in the professional graduate study in Coach Education. He completed his undergraduate professional study in Coach Education in 2021 and is now working towards earning his professional specialist title in coaching.
Anušić has completed six semesters of undergraduate studies and is now pursuing an additional four semesters for graduate-level studies. Despite being Minister of Defense, he is determined to continue studying and put forth effort to complete the program during his time as minister.
