The Masters, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, has been a highly anticipated golf tournament for many. One of the players who will be participating in this year’s event is Tiger Woods, the 15-times major champion from the US. However, Woods has not played in any major tournaments this year due to an ankle injury that he sustained during a car crash in 2021. Despite this setback, Woods has been making a gradual comeback to competitive golf and is currently hosting his own tournament, the Hero World Championship, which will take place in Albany, Bahamas from November 30th to December 3rd. This will be Woods’ first PGA Tour start since undergoing ankle surgery in April and he is excited to be back on the course once again. The tournament features six top-10 players including American world number one Scottie Scheffler. Many are eagerly anticipating Woods’ return to competitive golf and his performance at the Masters.
