Limited Space Available for Eclipse Viewing at the Science Mill

The Science Mill in Johnson City is excited to offer limited admission to view the April 8 total solar eclipse. As a museum located near the path of totality, the Science Mill is an ideal spot to witness this rare astronomical event.

On that Monday, starting at 1:35 p.m., the moon will completely block out the sun for about 4 minutes. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, each ticket includes regular museum admission for four people, four solar eclipse-viewing glasses, and a parking space in the west parking lot off of U.S. 290. However, parking is contingent on the weather and cannot be guaranteed except for inside the west parking lot.

Due to the expected popularity of this event, tickets are strictly limited and walk-ins are not permitted on April 8th. Visitors should purchase their tickets in advance to guarantee entry and avoid disappointment.

For more information on how to purchase tickets or any other questions related to this event, please visit sciencemill.org or call (844) 263-6405 or email info@sciencemill.org.
