Partnership Between San Luis Obispo County Behavioral Health Department and County Libraries Extended Through April

The San Luis Obispo Behavioral Health Department (SLOBHD) has joined forces with County Libraries through April to raise awareness about substance abuse. Both organizations will host Awareness Galleries focused on mental wellness and substance use. These galleries aim to educate the community on stress management techniques and the dangers of substance abuse. They will be available at County branches in Cambria, Los Osos, and Nipomo until April 30.

The interactive galleries will provide valuable information and resources to help individuals understand the importance of mental wellness and the risks associated with substance abuse. The SLOBHD website offers additional information on behavioral health resources for those seeking support or guidance.

News Channel 3-12 encourages constructive conversations and respectful dialogue on important issues like mental health and substance abuse. We value your input and opinions. If you have a story idea to share, please submit it to us. Let’s work together to create a community that supports and uplifts those struggling with mental health challenges.
